This Homewood cottage got a full refresh inside and out.

By raising the roofline and adding taller windows, we brought in more light and space, creating an inviting new kitchen and family room. Circulation between rooms was improved for everyday living, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were updated to suit the family’s needs. A finished basement provides room to grow, all while keeping the charm of the original home.

We’re proud to have created a space that truly feels like home for this family.

This Colonial Hills kitchen packs so much thoughtful design into a streamlined footprint.

By removing the cramped laundry room, the team opened up the space for a custom island with a built-in banquette that seamlessly blends seating and storage. The layout feels practical yet warm with rich cabinetry, designated appliance zones, and a charging station tucked in for modern family life.

The result is a kitchen that works hard for everyday living while still feeling calm and inviting.

Let’s take a moment to revisit this project, which was featured on HouseBeautiful’s website in their story on thoughtful galley kitchen design. The feature, which highlighted the concealed pantry door hidden behind the homeowner’s artwork, was noted as a smart way to keep the room feeling open and uncluttered. This kitchen also uses a Sub-Zero Wolf under-counter refrigerator and freezer drawers to give the homeowner more usable counter space.
